Today's trek led us to the Theatre Department and TigUr Garden.
On with the show! At the theater students were able to meet a few young actors, see a stage set, go backstage, visit the costume shop and see carpenters building a new set in a workshop!
Hello Theatre Department |
Ms. Alice (a former Campus School parent) gave us the grand tour and introduced us to some theater folk. |

Ben works the curtains backstage. Backstage there is an enormous pulley system that suspends so many things. Here I was able to connect science lessons about pulleys, kinetic energy and weight! |
Actors spend some time talking to kids about the life of an actor. |
Sachin participates in a little improv act about how costume designers and actors work together. |
A garden we will go.... and get free stuff!
Who would've known we would get beachballs, bubbles, sunglasses, beads and a frisbee! Thanks garden friends. |
